The Crew - Part One

In Greek mythology, the sirens were humanlike beings with alluring voices; they appear in a scene in the Odyssey in which Odysseus saves his crews lives. Roman poets placed them on some small islands called Sirenum scopuli. Tritons are a special type of mermen. They are counterparts of mermaids known as sirens, all fierce and violent warriors on sea and land.

In this story there will only be one Triton, because the Sirens have gone extinct.

Legend says that Hera, queen of the gods, persuaded the Sirens to enter a singing contest with the Muses. The Muses won the competition and then killed the Sirens centuries ago only leaving behind one Triton to make an example of the Muses powers.

Because of their fish-like bodies, sirens can swim like the water nymphs. The sirens are immortal and they can never die or suffer from sickness or disease.

But they can die by fire, silver blades, not enough water, alcohol, and can be hurt by loud, throbbing noises and high vibrations.

Each Siren is born with a Triton as twin.

Sirens reproduce by sex. Female Sirens will seduce their victims to get pregnant, but the only way to complete the pregnancy is to kill the male.

Male Sirens or Tritons are similar. All Sirens need male sperm to reproduce. Tritons usually sleep each other or male humans. But Tritons do not need to kill to complete their pregnancy. Just sex.

This is MY mythology again with some Greek so don say this and that in the comments because Im making some of this up for my series.

In folklore, a werewolf, or occasionally lycanthrope, is a human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf, either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction with the transformations occurring on the night of a full moon.

In this story, werewolves will only be able to turn into a full wolf at night and on the full moon they turn into a wolf/human mutant.

To become a werewolf, it is necessary to be bitten by a werewolf in their wolfish form at the time of the full moon. When the werewolfs saliva mingles with the victims blood, contamination will occur.

Two werewolves cannot create a werewolf. They can bite their child at the age of fourteen to make them turn. All the other years before that is basically training for them to become a werewolf.

(In this story^)

Werewolves are, according to some legends, people who morph into vicious, powerful wolves. Others are a mutant combination of human and wolf. But all are bloodthirsty beasts who cannot control their lust for killing people and animals.

One of the earliest known werewolf legends comes from Greek mythology. According to the legend, a man named Lycaon angered Zeus, the Lord of the Gods, when he served Zeus a meal made from human flesh. As punishment, the enraged Zeus turned Lycaon into a wolf. He then found out that he can create more like himself. The wolves directly from his line are considered True Wolves and are stronger than the Inbreed Wolves.

The werewolves in my story are immortal, but can die by fire, silver, toxic wolfsbane and led.

Again, these are MY myths so please don attack me. I did add myths from other legends, but most of these are mine that I made up.

The very first Hybrid were twins. One Vampire and one Werewolf. One twin was bit by a Werewolf and the other was bit by a Vampire. They told each other their secrets and lived the next four years in peace. But one day, the werewolf twin had started to date a woman. The Vampire twin grew jealous and impregnated her. Vampire offspring usually are born with some kind of disability or don live at all so he basically did it for fun. But the Werewolf had already impregnated her first and since male Vampires can always reproduce on the first try both sperm took form in her. The first ever Hybrid was born by the name of Gregory Dales.

Hybrids are a cross-breed of two or more different supernatural species. The term is commonly used to describe a werewolf turned into a vampire due to the fact that they were the first supernatural hybrid to be introduced into the supernatural world. There are other Hybrids, but most don live long due to the fact that because the two halves can sometimes destroy each other in ones body.

The first Vampire ever to be created was a man woman named Drusilla LaMorin. She was captured and abused by a demon and the demon made her drink human blood just for his entertainment. After some years the demon cursed her to drink human blood and make others like her for all eternity. She soon realized that she had special abilities that the demon left inside her. She one day bit into a man and didn realize he wasn fully dead. She had passed on some of her abilities into him and they started a Vampire Colony together and made their own species in the supernatural world.

A vampire is a creature from folklore that subsists by feeding on the vital essence (generally in the form of blood) of the living. In European folklore, vampires are undead creatures that often visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the neighbourhoods they inhabited while they were alive. Groups of Vampires are called Nest or Clan.

Mermaids and Merman.

The first appearance of mermaids in human culture seems to have occurred about 1000 BC in Assyria. In the mythology of Assyria the beautiful fertility goddess Atargatis became a mermaid after casting herself into a lake.

In folklore, a mermaid is an aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish. Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including Europe, Asia, and Africa. Mermaids are sometimes associated with perilous events such as floods, storms, shipwrecks, and drownings.

Mermen, the male counterparts of the mythical female mermaids, are legendary creatures, which are male human from the waist up and fish-like from the waist down, but may assume normal human shape. Sometimes they are described as hideous and other times as handsome.

Please remember guys, this is my story and I did take ideas from folklore and myths and incorporated it into this story.
